Tonight our Bear Fruit Project was on prayer! I gave a devotion on prayer, addressing the issue of what happens when prayers seem to collide?
It was from a book a bought on sale at Koorong, and I was glad that I picked it up ^^
Then we split into groups to pray for things a Christian should always be praying for.
In no particular order or rank:
- Salvation for the lost
- Healing of the sick
- Missions local and overseas
- Governments and authorities
- Church ministries
- Church leaders
- Family and friends

It's going to go up in our new Koinonia room that we renovated :D!
Prayer nights are really spiritually bonding. We must pray for the right things according to God's will and pray for one another at all times. Often our prayers become "me" focused and we end up going to God to fix all our problems or complaints and never praise and thank Him. An unrepentant, sinful heart blocks communication with God and new sins are created every day. But God still hears us through Jesus, however we should not abuse His grace.
"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: but verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my pray. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me." Psalm 66:18-20

We made the stickers following this Nifty tutorial:
After praying in groups, each person made a sticker for each heart :)
Prayers should be uttered honestly from our heart, not repetitive chanting or flowery meaningless words.

Tonight I learnt the difference between "dabbing" and "Usain Bolt".
